Accessible hikes & excursion destinations
Discover the most beautiful places in the holiday region Kaunertal in Tirol.
Did you know - the Kaunertal nature park and glacier region is accessible up to 3,108 meters above sea level! The Glacier Road and the mountain railways open up the high alpine mountains and viewing platforms.
Even in the valley, there are almost no stumbling blocks or obstacles thanks to a multi-award-winning lighthouse project. This benefits tourists with physical disabilities as well as families with small children.
Information about the Wheelchair Hikes: Hikes are possible when using a Swiss Trac device and/or accompanied by a guide.
